The Graduate: Handmade Quilled Graduation Greeting Card for Him
"He earned the cap. Send him the card that says you saw it."
Every coil placed by hand
Ships flat in a rigid box
Replaced if damaged
The Graduate is a handmade quilled graduation greeting card for him, featuring a faceless figure in cap and gown with a hand-rolled gold tassel and a tri-color hood at the shoulders. The figure is hand-quilled. "Happy Graduation" is printed above in calligraphic script. The face is left blank by design, so the card represents every graduate, not one specific man.
The The Graduate · for her (QCPE-01) is the companion card, same craft, with a long-haired silhouette and a gold vertical stole.
Timing note: Graduation season peaks May and June in the US.

The design and the day
Built one way. Made for specific moments.
01
Three colors, one ceremony.
Navy, sky blue, and gold are the three colors built into the hood, layered the way academic regalia layers in life. The hood is the visible signal of academic completion in the regalia tradition, more than the cap or the gown. The figure is built faceless on purpose. Every graduate, regardless of features, sees himself in it.
The crown of the cap is built coil by coil, set side by side to form the dome. The hood is set in three nested layers: the navy frame is placed first, the gold trim laid against it, the sky-blue interior set in last.
02
The milestone he earned in full.
For the son, brother, friend, or grandson who finished what he started. A paper quilling graduation card carries a weight that printed cards do not, especially when the person receiving it understands what hand-rolled paper means. It fits high school commencement, college graduation, and masters or doctoral hooding ceremonies. The card is also given by mentors and teachers to students they have taught for years.
Many recipients frame this card. It was designed for that, sized 5x5 inches to fit standard frames sold at most US home stores.
