Paper, from the first coil to the box.
A Vonderly card is color paper, 300gsm card stock, and water-based adhesive, packed in kraft. Everything in the package is listed below.

The surface: a faint guide line is printed under the design and is fully covered once the card is built. The visible surface of every card, except the printed wish on top, is hand-quilled paper.

Two to three pairs of hands per card.
Every card is built by a team of women artisans in our Jaffna studio, each working the quilling techniques they know best. No card is rushed from start to finish by a single person.
Our artisans are paid above the average craft wage in Sri Lanka, with steady work through the year.
