Knowing what the card is made of makes it easy to keep. The whole object is paper and water-based glue, which is exactly why light and moisture are the only two things to manage.
The design is color paper, shaped by hand and set on a card base by a team of specialists in Jaffna. The card is built to be handled, gifted, and kept. It is not delicate. It is simply made of paper, and paper rewards a little attention.
There is no plastic in the card itself. The clear sleeve it may ship in is a transit protector and is recyclable.

Can I frame a quilled card?

Will the colors fade over time?
Kept out of direct sunlight, a Vonderly card holds its color for years. The paper is colorfast, so steady indirect light, not a sunny windowsill, preserves it longest.
How do I clean it?
Clean a quilled card by dusting it lightly with a soft, dry brush. Keep water, sprays, and cleaning products away from it, since the design is paper and water-based glue and moisture is the one thing that harms it.
What if a coil lifts?
If a coil lifts, press it back gently with a pinpoint of paper glue and let it set flat. If it lifted in transit, contact us instead and we replace the card at no cost.
