Moon Cats is a handmade quilled anniversary greeting card, showing two cats (one gray, one black) sitting close on a blue crescent moon with two small red hearts above. The design is hand-quilled. "Forever & Always" is printed above in calligraphic script. The crescent moon is built from dozens of small tight coils, giving it a textured surface against the smoother cat figures.
Timing note: anniversary gifting is year-round, with peaks in February (Valentine's Day) and June (wedding-season anniversaries).

Built coil by tight coil.
The crescent moon is blue, set against the white card as the night sky it sits in. The two cats are placed touching, the gray and black bodies leaning into each other against the moon's curve. The black-and-gray contrast is intentional. Two cats of different color, sitting together, are a quiet visual shorthand for partners whose differences are the point, not the problem.
The moon alone carries over several tight chained coils. The two cats are built next, then placed onto the moon's curve. The hearts are added last.

At Vonderly, each card is built entirely by hand using this technique by a team of specialized artisans in Jaffna, Sri Lanka. What you see on the card is paper, shaped by hand, one strip at a time.
Is the inside of the card blank?
Yes. Every Vonderly card has a blank interior. There is no pre-printed message. The card is made for your words, not ours. Write directly on the card or include a separate note inside the kraft envelope.
Can I frame this card after gifting?
Yes, and many recipients do. Every Vonderly card is 5x5 inches square, a size that fits standard frames available at most US home stores. The three-dimensional quilling gives the card real depth behind glass. To preserve it, keep it away from direct sunlight and moisture.
