His Big Day is a handmade quilled graduation greeting card, with "Happy Graduation!" printed in gray script above a figure in a navy cap and gown. A gold tassel hangs from the cap, and a hood layered in navy, sky blue, and gold sits across the shoulders. The face is left as open card and drawn with a single fine gold line, so the graduate stays whoever receives it.

Story
The design and the moment.
01
The design
"Happy Graduation!" runs across the top in a fine gray script. Below it, a figure stands in a navy cap and gown, the cap flat-topped with a gold tassel falling to one side. A hood layered in navy, sky blue, and gold sits across the shoulders, built from strips stood on edge in graduated bands. The face and ears are outlined in a single fine gold line and left otherwise open.
02
The moment
The face is deliberately blank, so the card fits the graduate rather than an illustration of someone else. Give it at the ceremony, with the gift, or in the post to someone who finished a degree a long way from home. The hood does the formality, which leaves the inside free for whatever is actually worth saying.
