Most anniversaries get a text and not much else. Heart Lollipops is a handmade quilled anniversary greeting card, two hearts in deep red and pink, each ringed in paper and filled with three coils, crossed on cream sticks and tied with a red bow. "Sweetest Together!" is printed above in gray script, so it carries an anniversary, a Valentine's Day, or a Tuesday that needed marking.

The design
Each heart is built outside in, strips laid in concentric rings that follow the contour of the one before, until three spirals fill what is left at the center. The sticks are narrow outlined channels packed with ring coils set on edge. The bow streamers are cut and notched, not rolled.

The moment
Two hearts on one card reads as a couple, which makes this the card for the anniversary rather than the apology. Give it across a table, leave it on a pillow, or post it to the pair whose date you actually remembered this year.

Every Vonderly card is built by 2 to 3 specialists working in sequence. The artisan below led the work on this one.
I do the coils and most of the leaves on our cards. The coils have to be the same size all the way through. If one is wrong, you can see it on the finished card. The leaves I shape on a comb, that is how they get their curve. This part of the work I am fastest at, because I have done it the longest.

Is this card only for couples?
What is paper quilling?
Paper quilling is the art of rolling, shaping and arranging narrow strips of paper to create raised designs. On Vonderly cards, each visible quilled element is shaped and placed by hand rather than printed.
How long does it take to make a Vonderly card?
A Vonderly card typically takes around 90 minutes of handwork. Different parts may pass through specialist hands for shaping, detailing and assembly before the finished card is checked and packed.
What comes with each card?
Each card measures 5 × 5 inches, is blank inside for your own message, and comes with a 5.25 × 5.25-inch kraft envelope.
What if my card arrives damaged?
We replace it at no cost, and you keep the original. Email hello@vonderly.com within 30 days of delivery with a photo, and we ship a replacement or issue a refund. There is nothing to send back.
