Coconut Drink: Handmade Quilled Tropical Greeting Card
"They've earned the day with their feet up."
Every coil placed by hand
Ships flat in a rigid box
Replaced if damaged
Coconut Drink is a handmade quilled tropical greeting card, showing a halved coconut filled with a cream drink, a red and pink cocktail umbrella, a blue bent straw, and two green leaves rising behind. Every visible surface is hand-quilled. The coconut shell is built from rows of tight orange coils, capped by cream rim rolled in open scrolls. The umbrella is paneled in alternating red and pink marquise shapes, the way a real paper parasol folds.
Timing note: peaks May through August for summer and vacation gifting, with a steady year-round tail from bon voyage, travel, and warm-climate markets.

Coconut Drink: Handmade Quilled Tropical Greeting Card
The design and the day
Built one way. Made for specific moments.
01
Built around the shell.
A tropical drink card is what you send when the message is rest, not a deadline. The half-coconut form was chosen because it is instantly read across cultures as a holiday, a beach, a day with nothing scheduled, no text required to explain it. The shell anchors the whole composition: the umbrella, straw, and leaves all attach to it, so the coiling has to be dense enough to carry the weight of those elements without sagging. The husk alone runs several rows of orange teardrop coils.
The umbrella is built last among the upper elements and is the most fragile. Each red and pink panel is a separate marquise shape, pinched at both ends and set in a fan, then crowned with a single gold coil at the tip.

For the break they earned.
For the friend leaving on the trip they planned all year, the colleague who finally clocked out for a real vacation, the person who just retired, or the one who needs a beach in their head to get through a hard week. A handmade tropical greeting card carries that wish further than a text and looks like something on the day it arrives. It fits bon voyage, summer birthdays, beach and destination trips, girls' weekends, and just-because notes to someone overdue for a rest. It also works as a warm-market staple, where the season this card belongs to runs all year.
Many recipients frame this card. It was designed for that, sized 5x5 inches to fit standard frames sold at most US home stores.
