Bouquet is a handmade quilled congratulations greeting card, showing three flowers (blue, lavender, and orange) with two pink buds tied with a red ribbon. The design is hand-quilled. "Congratulations" is printed above in calligraphic script. The flowers vary in color and stage (full blooms, buds) to suggest both the achievement and the next thing coming.
The Bouquet (QCFL-02) is the companion card, identical design with no printed wish.
Timing note: congratulations gifting peaks May through June (graduation season), with strong year-round demand for promotions, engagements, weddings, and new baby announcements.

Built for the good news.
Congratulations is what you say when someone has done the thing they were working toward. A tied bouquet is what you give when words alone are not enough, and the printed Congratulations on the cover handles the words. Three flowers in full bloom and two buds: the full blooms read as the achievement, the buds as the next one coming. The wish is printed on the cover top in calligraphic script, with the inside left blank for whatever the sender wants to write.
The bow alone is built from four separate elements: two large loops, a knot strip, and two tail ribbons. Each is rolled to a slightly different tension to give the bow its three-dimensional shape.

I do the coils and most of the leaves on our cards. The coils have to be the same size all the way through. If one is wrong, you can see it on the finished card. The leaves I shape on a comb, that is how they get their curve. This part of the work I am fastest at, because I have done it the longest.

Paper quilling, also called paper filigree, is the art of rolling, shaping, and placing thin paper strips into three-dimensional designs. It is one of the oldest paper art forms in the world, and requires precision and patience to build up layer by layer.
At Vonderly, each card is built entirely by hand using this technique by a team of specialized artisans in Jaffna, Sri Lanka. What you see on the card is paper, shaped by hand, one strip at a time.
Is the inside of the card blank?
Yes. Every Vonderly card has a blank interior. There is no pre-printed message. The card is made for your words, not ours. Write directly on the card or include a separate note inside the kraft envelope.
Can I frame this card after gifting?
Yes, and many recipients do. Every Vonderly card is 5x5 inches square, a size that fits standard frames available at most US home stores. The three-dimensional quilling gives the card real depth behind glass. To preserve it, keep it away from direct sunlight and moisture.
